We are home now from four nights away at the mountain house, where we had an awesome time. For the first two nights, it was just our little family. The second two nights, we had some friends up who have two amazingly sweet girls, ages 3 and 5. Camille loves older kids and got to experience her first real time of playing in the snow with Brooke and Claire. It was so cute watching them all play together!
Ian and I have been reading Camille The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats for about a month now, so we made a big deal about her finding a stick and smacking it on the snow-covered tree (er, bush) ... if you have read this book, you know what I'm referencing!
Our snowman must have brought us luck, as a few hours later that afternoon, the Panthers beat the Seahawks in the playoffs!
