Lobstah Love

Yesterday was the first day of summer! Hooray! Bring on beach trips, popsicles, and all things nautical!

A girlfriend complimented my new lobster kicks the other day and I have to admit I think they're pretty swell, too. Navy Ja-Vie flats with orangey-red lobsters on them! I love!

You know I adore this brand of flats because they are ridiculously comfy, cute, and durable. Mine that I've had for years now still look great, and you can pop out the leather insole and machine wash the shoe. YES, machine wash the shoe! (size reference: I am a pretty solid 7.5 and I wear a 38. size up to the whole size!)

    I have an embarrassing amount of lobster attire for summer months (including an abercrombie and fitch had from 1997 - my first summer lifeguarding that I still wear despite my husband's protestations that it's time to retire it!) - but I think I'd go with denim tropical, they seem like a great summer "neutral".

    I've been eyeing these for years but always chicken out buying new them because I am unsure of size 🙈 I'm a solid 7 but wear 7 1/2 in some shoes. My eye has been on the black and white polka dots that would match everything 😃
